Regarding the case of a traffic police officer being hit by a young man driving a motorbike carrying a person while being tested for alcohol concentration, at the police station, the two young men confessed that the motorcyclist who hit the police officer was Le Minh Phong (born in 2005, in Yen Tho commune, Nhu Thanh district). At that time, Phong was driving a motorbike carrying a friend from the same commune.
When seeing the traffic police signal to stop the vehicle for an administrative check, Phong increased the speed to run away because he was afraid of being punished for not wearing a helmet and not having a driver's license and unfortunately crashed into Captain Le Xuan Linh.
The Investigation Police Agency, Nhu Thanh District Police are continuing to verify the case to strictly handle it according to the provisions of law.
