Training and knowledge update class for 42 members of the 13th Party Central Committee

On the morning of September 25, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Central Organizing Committee to organize the Opening Ceremony of the Training and Knowledge Update Class for Party Central Committee members, term XIII (third class).

Member of the Politburo, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee, Head of the Training Course Steering Committee Truong Thi Mai attended and gave a speech. Also attending were Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Deputy Head of the Training Course Steering Committee Nguyen Xuan Thang.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing member of the Secretariat and Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai stated that training and updating knowledge is a requirement for each member of the Party Central Committee during the term. Since the beginning of the 13th Party Congress term, the world and domestic situation has continued to have rapid, complex, and unpredictable developments, some of which have exceeded forecasts.

To contribute to strengthening the Party's leadership in the new situation, the Party places very high demands on personnel work, especially strategic-level cadres, including training, fostering, updating information and knowledge, and improving capacity. The Secretariat requires continuing to innovate training programs, updating knowledge in a practical, effective and practical direction, associated with building strategic vision and thinking, and assigns the Central Organizing Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to coordinate and prepare.

The Standing Secretariat emphasized that the Training and Knowledge Update Course is an opportunity for Party Central Committee members to review the overall results of the past half-term; enhance awareness, understand the advantages, strengths, as well as limitations and weaknesses in implementing Party Congress resolutions, including the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th National Congress in conjunction with the responsibilities of each assigned task.

"Therefore, the Secretariat hopes that comrades will uphold their responsibility for construction, spirit, and serious attitude in participating in the program," said Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai.

According to the Standing Secretariat, the process of national development and increasingly deep integration is requiring the Party's leadership capacity, so that the Party can truly be a representative image of morality, intelligence and civilization. Each member of the Party Central Committee, head of Party committees and organizations must concentrate highly, make more efforts, improve political capacity and working capacity, be ready to receive and complete assigned tasks, not waver, not retreat in the face of difficulties and challenges, and make worthy contributions to the comprehensive strength of the Party.

Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai hopes that Central Committee members will study seriously, actively exchange, discuss and contribute ideas, and make the best use of their study time to exchange, so that the training and study class will be truly useful.

According to the report, 42 members of the Party Central Committee attended the Training and Knowledge Update Course. The training content included 9 topics, covering quite comprehensively important issues related to the leadership and direction of the Party in conjunction with the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, the country's development goals to 2030 and 2045. The reporters were senior leaders of the Party, leading domestic and international experts.
