The class was held on the morning of April 26 at the VFF headquarters, with the participation of international experts from Japan, Koshida Takeshi and Yutaka Ikeuchi, and the analyst of the Vietnamese team, Nguyen Anh Tuan.
The students in the class are mainly former players and assistant coaches working at V.League and First Division clubs. This is an important milestone, demonstrating the strong transformation of Vietnamese football in applying science and technology to training and competition.
VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu said: “ World football has changed rapidly in the past two decades thanks to the application of science and technology. To compete and develop, Vietnamese football cannot stand outside this trend. Therefore, VFF urgently established a modern football analysis room and organized this class so that students can grasp basic knowledge of match analysis."
Although Vietnamese football has begun to use analysis at some clubs, according to Mr. Phu, the role of analysis has not been synchronized and comprehensively developed. This class will equip students with modern football analysis skills and tools, thereby supporting coaches and clubs in preparing for matches, training and managing players more effectively.
The course, which lasts from April 26 to 29, is expected to be an important foundation for Vietnamese football to improve its professional quality, aiming for sustainable development in the future.
