680th Maritime and Island Information Brigade in Quang Ngai

On May 18th and 19th, Brigade 680, Region 3 of the Navy, in coordination with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, organized information sessions on the sea and islands at schools.

Over 1,200 officials, teachers, and students from Nguyen Cong Tru, Son My, Thu Xa, and Chu Van An high schools in Quang Ngai province gained knowledge about the strategic position and role of Vietnam's seas and islands; the process of establishing and protecting sovereignty through various historical periods; and the role and results of the struggle to protect maritime sovereignty by the Vietnam People's Navy...

Through images, documentary videos , real-life stories, and open Q&A sessions, students not only broaden their understanding but also develop national pride and appreciation for the sacrifices made by previous generations in protecting maritime sovereignty.

On this occasion, Brigade 680 visited and provided funding for the last six months of 2026 to Nguyen Thanh Long, Chau Thuan Bien, and Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh in Dong Son commune, Quang Ngai province.

Brigade 680 provides financial support to the children of fishermen.

At the families' homes, officers and soldiers of Brigade 680 kindly inquired about and encouraged the children to continue striving in their studies, be well-behaved, and overcome difficulties to improve their lives. This meaningful activity contributed to strengthening the solidarity between the military and the people, creating more motivation for fishermen to confidently go out to sea and maintain their livelihoods.
