TPO - Authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of a fire in an apartment building in Binh Tan District (Ho Chi Minh City) that damaged a lot of property.
On June 23, the Binh Tan District Police (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with relevant units to investigate the cause of a recent apartment fire in the area.
According to initial information, at around 3:40 AM on the same day, residents discovered a fire in an apartment on the 19th floor of an apartment building on Vo Van Kiet Street (An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District), so they shouted for help, tried to put out the fire, and reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Binh Tan District Police dispatched numerous vehicles, officers, and soldiers to the scene and quickly brought the fire under control.

At the time of the fire, the apartment tenants were not inside, so there were no casualties. Due to the fire, residents living inside the apartment building panicked and moved to the ground floor for safety.

The fire destroyed some household items and burned an area of approximately 9m2 out of 75m2.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
