Increased selling pressure leads to a slight rise in the VN-Index.

Market liquidity decreased compared to the previous session, with a total trading volume of over 1,099.79 million shares across all three exchanges, equivalent to a total trading value of over 26,711.76 billion VND. Capital flow remained primarily concentrated in banking, securities, and real estate stocks.

Foreign investors reduced their net selling across all three exchanges, totaling just over VND 199.86 billion, concentrated on stocks such as MWG (VND 86 billion), VND (VND 70 billion), VHM (VND 57 billion), etc.

Conversely, stocks with significant net buying includedFPT (100 billion VND), HSG (64 billion VND), HPG (47 billion VND), NKG (44 billion VND), POW (38 billion VND), etc.

On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session also decreased significantly compared to the previous session, reaching over 20,167.43 billion VND.

Today, large-cap stocks fluctuated within a narrow range; POW and SAB rose by more than 2%, while TCB, BVH, VNM, BID, STB, VIC, GAS, FPT, GVR, and HPG increased by more than 1%. Conversely, VRE, MWG,SHB , VPB, BCM, and ACB fell by no more than 0.8%.

Stocks that contributed positively to the VN-Index's increase of over 4.38 points include: FPT, VCB, SAB, HPG, BID, TCB, POW, CTG, HVN, and GAS.

Conversely, the stocks that negatively impacted the VN-Index, causing it to drop by 1.48 points, included:ACB , VPB, BCM, HAG, DGC, MBB, EIB, VRE, KDH, and SHB.

In this session, money continued to flow into steel stocks, with large-cap stocks rising sharply such as HSG up 3.58%, NKG up 2.62%, HPG up 1.03%...

In addition, the transportation and warehousing sector stocks also performed positively, with VSC increasing by 1.61%, GMD by 1.44%, VTP by 2.89%, HVN by 1.55%, and so on.

* The Vietnamese stock market index continued its upward trend today, with the VNXALL-Index closing up 2.25 points (+0.11%) at 2,119.71 points. Trading volume exceeded 930.59 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over 24,339.12 billion VND. Across the market, 192 stocks increased in price, 87 remained unchanged, and 208 decreased.

* On the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), the HNX-Index closed at 244.32 points, down 0.40 points (-0.16%). Total trading volume reached over 86.35 million shares, with a corresponding transaction value of over 1,686.11 billion VND. Across the entire market, 87 stocks increased in price, 56 remained unchanged, and 97 decreased.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.74 points (-0.14%) at 541.76 points. Trading volume reached over 44.88 million units, with a corresponding value of over 1,189.68 billion VND. Across the market, there were 8 gainers, 6 unchanged stocks, and 16 losers.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 97.00 points, up 0.07 points (+0.07%). Total market liquidity reached over 77.60 million shares traded, with a corresponding trading value of over 1,288.71 billion VND. Across the market, 175 stocks increased in price, 96 remained unchanged, and 108 decreased.

* On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 3.52 points (+0.28%), at 1,283.52 points. Trading volume reached over 935.84 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND 23,736.94 billion. Across the entire exchange, there were 202 gainers, 74 unchanged stocks, and 224 losers.

The VN30 index rose 3.21 points (+0.25%) to 1,300.99 points. Trading volume reached over 273.46 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of over 8,935.57 VND. At the end of the trading day, 16 VN30 stocks increased, 3 remained unchanged, and 11 decreased.

The top 5 stocks with the highest trading volume were HPG (over 39.65 million units), POW (over 35.93 million units), HSG (over 31.58 million units), HAG (over 21.60 million units), and STB (over 20.23 million units).

The top 5 gainers were SAV (+6.92%), HVH (+6.89%), BMC (+6.85%), CKG (+6.83%), and TMT (+6.81%).

The 5 stocks with the biggest price drops were HAS (-6.85%), FUCVREIT (-6.55%), SBA (-6.47%), FDC (-6.16%), and TNC (-5.78%).

* Today's derivatives market saw 205,803 contracts traded, with a value exceeding VND 26,675.78 billion.
