Laotian students explore Vietnamese through practical experiences in Quang Ninh

The Vietnamese language preparatory class for foreigners, class of 2024-2025, of Tan Trao University recently had a study exchange trip to Ha Long University (Quang Ninh). Through practical lessons, language games and academic exchange activities, Lao students had the opportunity to practice their Vietnamese language skills, learn more about the culture and higher education environment in Vietnam.

On August 5, Tan Trao University announced that it had just organized an exchange program at the Faculty of Pedagogy - Ha Long University ( Quang Ninh province) with the participation of students of the Vietnamese language preparatory class for foreigners, course 2024-2025.

At the exchange, Lao students participated in classes with students from Ha Long University; practiced conversation, listening and speaking skills through language games and presentations introducing the country and culture of Laos and Vietnam.

Along with learning activities, lecturers from the two schools exchanged teaching methods for Vietnamese as a foreign language, shared textbooks and learning materials, and agreed on some directions for professional coordination in the coming time.

According to Tan Trao University, the program not only helps international students gain more confidence in using Vietnamese and expand their understanding of the learning environment in Vietnam, but also contributes to strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese language training institutions for foreigners. This is one of the activities in the plan to improve the quality of Vietnamese language training for foreign students in the 2024-2025 period.
