The event is considered an important milestone in strengthening economic and investment cooperation between Vietnamese and Japanese organizations and enterprises, especially in the context of the two countries promoting cooperation in green transformation and sustainable development.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Phan Huu Thang, former Director of the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment ; Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka; and representatives of agencies, associations, businesses and the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Japan.
The presence of the delegates shows their deep interest and support for practical cooperation initiatives, contributing to promoting the Vietnam-Japan friendship to develop more comprehensively and effectively.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Phan Huu Thang, former Director of the Foreign Investment Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment, highly appreciated the efforts of the Vietnam Industrial Park Finance Association in connecting financial, scientific, technological and investment resources between the two countries.
Dr. Phan Huu Thang emphasized that the signing of this cooperation agreement not only has economic significance but also demonstrates a strategic vision in transferring modern technology, aiming at developing green industry, circular economy and sustainable agriculture.
According to the signed minutes, the two sides agreed to cooperate in key areas including: Transfer of heavy industrial machinery and equipment for production and manufacturing in industrial zones in Vietnam; development of technology in the production of functional foods and medicinal herbs of natural origin.
In addition, the two sides also promoted cooperation to promote investment in the ecological model of "Vietnamese Village", aiming to build a green, clean, environmentally friendly living space, while preserving national cultural identity in the process of international integration.

With a long-term vision and a spirit of practical cooperation, the Vietnam Industrial Park Finance Association and the Vietnam-Japan Economic Association hope that this agreement will open up many new cooperation opportunities in the fields of investment, technology transfer and sustainable development, contributing positively to the cause of national modernization and enhancing the position of the S-shaped country in the global value chain.
In addition, the two sides also agreed to increase business exchanges, train high-quality human resources, and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to access advanced Japanese technology sources. This is considered a direction in line with the general development trend, as both countries are aiming for green growth and sustainable development.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, expressed his delight at the increasingly close cooperation between organizations and associations of the Vietnamese community in Japan and local partners.
According to the Consul General, the proactive connection of Vietnamese associations and businesses is an important driving force to promote economic, cultural and technological cooperation between the two countries, while contributing to promoting the image of dynamic, creative and socially responsible Vietnamese people.

On this occasion, Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, on behalf of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka, presented certificates of merit to the Vietnam-Japan Economic Association and a number of outstanding member organizations, recognizing their positive contributions in connecting businesses, supporting the community and promoting the Vietnam-Japan friendship.
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, this signing ceremony does not stop at a commitment to cooperate on paper but will quickly be implemented with practical projects in 2026, including a program to transfer heavy industrial equipment lines, research on the production of functional foods from Vietnamese medicinal herbs in Japan, and the pilot construction of "Vietnamese Village" ecological zones in some localities in the country.
The event affirms the growing role of the Vietnamese business community, intellectuals and associations in Japan in connecting and accompanying the country's development.
At the same time, this is a clear demonstration of the spirit of cooperation and mutual trust between Vietnam and Japan - two strategic partners with a traditional and strong friendship for more than half a century.
