9x actress Quinn Truc Tran was chosen for the movie "A tourist's guide to love"
Many netizens were surprised to discover that Quinn Truc Tran - the naughty girl in the movie "My Husband" - appeared in the movie "A tourist's guide to love" produced by a Hollywood crew.
Although she only appeared for 2 seconds in the trailer, this 9X actress received attention from many people, especially when this film also contributes to promoting Vietnam's scenic spots.
Quinn Truc Tran has also just confirmed that she is one of the Vietnamese actors participating in "A tourist's guide to love", alongside artist Le Thien.
Quinn Truc Tran could not hide her excitement when the film was about to air because it had been a long time since she had participated in a long-term project. However, she still decided to keep her role a secret in the hope of surprising the audience.
"This role is somewhat similar to my image in "My Husband" but has many more interesting aspects" - Quinn Truc Tran revealed.
Quinn Truc Tran said she was chosen by the director because of her bright pink hair.
Thus, after actress Ngo Thanh Van, Quinn Truc Tran was chosen by a Hollywood crew to participate in their film. Talking about the opportunity to participate in "A tourist's guide to love", Quinn Truc Tran said that in order to be able to attend the film casting, she had to learn English dialogue and use this language throughout the working process.
"When I went to the casting, the director said that he didn't want to find a girl with a purely Asian appearance. The crew had looked for many actresses with black hair and a feminine style, but the director didn't agree until he met me. Moreover, my pink hair at that time suited the director's image. I felt lucky because I had what the director needed, so I could appear in this film" - Quinn Truc Tran recalled.
She was loved in the movie "My Husband"
For her first time participating in an international film project, Quinn Truc Tran encountered difficulties, first of all the language. Although she had good English skills as an international student in Australia, when working with a crew that used American English, it took her a long time to get used to and catch up.
"That was just a little difficulty I encountered. Luckily, the whole crew was talented and experienced in film, so I felt I had to try harder and make more efforts," she said.
