After the first six months of implementing the two-tiered local government system, Tien Yen, a land rich in revolutionary traditions, is entering spring with a new look. Setting an example for leaders

In 2025, following the reorganization and merger of administrative units, the workload is substantial, while the aspirations and concerns of officials, Party members, and the people also raise many new issues. This reality demands decisive and coordinated action from the entire political system, first and foremost the exemplary role and responsibility of the leaders. Recognizing this, the comrades holding key leadership positions in the commune's Party committee and government always uphold a high work ethic, maintain strict discipline and order, and are dedicated to serving the people.

Comrade Hoang Trong Khoan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tien Yen commune, said: "Thanks to exemplary leadership and management, the awareness of the team of officials and civil servants has been significantly improved. Difficult tasks and new contents are implemented synchronously from the grassroots level, and arising obstacles are promptly resolved, creating positive changes in the organization and implementation of tasks. The culture of public service is oriented towards being close to the people, contributing to consolidating trust and consensus among the people."

Bright colors

In the overall picture, the economy stands out with many positive aspects, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development. Local budget revenue reached 120% of the plan; average per capita income reached 57 million VND/year; and the value of harvested products per hectare of cultivated land reached 85 million VND. Agriculture played a pivotal role with food production exceeding 9,700 tons; the crop structure shifted towards increasing value, linked with the application of advanced technology.

Alongside this, many livestock and crop farming models have been maintained and expanded. The industrial and handicraft sectors, including the production of charcoal pellets, forest product processing, and construction materials, have maintained stable growth. Trade, services, and tourism activities are gradually flourishing, opening up new avenues for exploiting local potential and advantages. Cooperatives have been established and are operating effectively, creating further impetus for sustainable development.

In the rural area of ​​Yen Thuong, a model village in the renovation of neglected gardens, more than 170 households are currently participating in developing household garden economies. On the unused land, various crops are intercropped and meticulously cared for, thriving year-round and bearing abundant fruit, providing a stable income for the people. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ty happily shared: "Thanks to growing dragon fruit, cucumbers, and jicama, I earn more than 100 million VND per year, and my life is becoming increasingly prosperous."

According to Comrade Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Yen commune, looking ahead, the commune has set forth key goals and solutions to develop the economy and improve the material and spiritual lives of the ethnic people in the commune, so that with each passing spring, the people's trust in the Party and the government will become even stronger and more steadfast.
