On the afternoon of April 3, Thai billionaire Nualphan Lamsam (Madam Pang), widely known as the president of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), was in Hanoi. She was the guest of honor at the friendly match between the Vietnam U17 women's team and the Thailand U17 women's team, an activity that is part of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

After the official match time, Vietnam U17 women's team won against Thailand U17 women's team with a score of 2-1. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lam opened the scoring in the first half, Wangchin Chiwadan equalized 1-1 in the second half, before Nguyen Thi Linh Chi sealed the 2-1 victory.

This is also an important match for Thailand's U17 women's team in preparation for the 2025 U17 Women's World Cup, taking place at the end of this year.

After the match, Madam Pang shared that she felt proud to return to Vietnam this time. The powerful female billionaire of Thai football also congratulated the Vietnamese women's team on their meaningful journey at the 2023 Women's World Cup, and hoped that the two football cultures would develop together in the future.
