The Multimedia Challenge began before the start date in February, with contestants demonstrating their personal influence on multiple social media platforms. The beauties will be provided with a personal page on the official Miss World website. They must quickly and regularly update their personal information as well as activities outside the contest. In addition, contestants must also interact with the audience on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Mai Phuong's account attracted attention on Mobstar, being a contestant who topped the trending list for many days, surpassing a strong Indonesian opponent, and taking the lead in the audience's votes in the final round. The beauty queen, whose full name is Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, 24 years old, was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022, receiving support from a large audience. She is 1.7 m tall, has measurements of 82-63-92 cm, an IELTS score of 8.0, and is studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City. The beauty arrived in India on February 17 after more than a year of preparation, longer than previous Vietnamese contestants due to the competition being postponed and changing locations many times.

Miss World is one of the two most prestigious beauty pageants in the world, along with Miss Universe, first held in England in 1951. The reigning Miss Karolina Bielawska, from Poland, will crown her successor in the final at 9 p.m. on March 9 (Hanoi time) in India.
