Mr. Nguyen Van Lan - Director of Dak Troi Agricultural, Forestry and Service Cooperative - said: Since 2020, the Cooperative has invested in rice milling machines, instructed people on rice production techniques according to VietGAP and purchased and processed local OCOP products.
To date, the Cooperative has four 3-star OCOP products including Ba Cham rice, upland sticky rice, rice flour and DT rice. Also through the program, the Cooperative's rice products are highly appreciated by consumers. On average, each year, the Cooperative supplies about 30 tons of rice to the market.
“The OCOP program has created conditions for the restoration and development of local rice varieties and brought about higher economic efficiency than traditional rice production. In particular, the subjects participating in the OCOP program have received support from all levels and sectors in packaging, labels, traceability stamps, testing and product promotion at many programs and events. Thanks to that, local people can rest assured in production without worrying about product output,” said Mr. Lan.
