Dien Phuong Ward Front repairs 2 charity houses for poor families

(QNO) - On the afternoon of May 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Phuong Ward (Dien Ban Town) started repairing 2 charity houses for disadvantaged households in the area.

They are the household of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tho (Triem Nam block) and Mr. Ngo Xa's household (Dong Phuong 2 block).

Mrs. Tho's house is expected to be solidified, with an area of nearly 50 square meters, including 1 living room and 2 bedrooms. The investment cost is 70 million, of which 30 million is from the State budget, and the family contributes an additional 40 million. Mrs. Tho is 70 years old this year, a poor household in the locality, she is often sick. Her son is a manual worker, the job is unstable, he does whatever is asked of him.

Mr. Ngo Xa's family is in a particularly difficult situation. My husband and I are old and do not have stable jobs. We have two mentally ill children who are being treated at Quang Nam Mental Hospital.

Mr. Xa's family house will have all the purlins and roof of the main house replaced. The repair cost is 20 million VND.
