Quang Nam Provincial Front focuses on innovating propaganda work, gathering and reflecting public opinion

Implementing the signed coordination program, in recent times, promoting its role as a member organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, the Provincial Journalists Association has focused on information, propaganda, and timely and comprehensive reflection on the position, role, and results of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels of Quang Nam province.

In order to create a source of works from Quang Nam province to participate in journalism awards organized by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, from 2023, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will coordinate with the Provincial Journalists Association to organize the Great Solidarity Journalism Award within the framework of the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism Award.

Over 2 years (2023 and 2024), the Organizing Committee of the award received the response and participation of many press agencies inside and outside the province, with 70 works by 42 authors and groups of authors in various types of print, electronic, visual and radio newspapers, reflecting quite comprehensively the fields of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province.

The Provincial Journalists Association has actively coordinated to promote and encourage members to participate in the National Press Award "Journalism with the work of fighting corruption and waste", the Press Award "For the cause of great national unity" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. In 2023 and 2024, Quang Nam province submitted works to participate in the Press Award "For the cause of great national unity", all of which won high prizes.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh said: To contribute to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front in performing well the work of participating in Party building and government building, in the coming time, as a member organization of the Provincial Fatherland Front, periodically (monthly, quarterly, 6 months, yearly), the Provincial Journalists Association will collect people's thoughts and aspirations through the press (in writing) and send them to the Provincial Front.

The Provincial Journalists Association proactively proposed monitoring content to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee regarding legitimate opinions and recommendations of the people in the province that were reflected by press agencies (2 times or more) but were not resolved by competent authorities or were not resolved satisfactorily.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee synthesizes the opinions of the Provincial Journalists Association, members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, the results of the supervision and criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations of the province to issue a Notice of participation in government building before the sessions of the Provincial People's Council according to groups of issues, clearly stating the situation and recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee on the management of socio-economic development, and to the Provincial People's Council on the results of implementing the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council in the area.

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Journalists Association agreed that from 2025, the columns and pages in coordination with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will study and supplement the contents that clearly reflect the recommendations of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front to Party committees and authorities at all levels on the living conditions, aspirations of the people, and public opinion. Focus on in-depth reflection of thematic and regular supervision activities of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels.
