(HNMO) - From now until April 24, 2023 is the time for 9th grade students of junior high schools and vocational education - continuing education centers to write "Application form for admission to grade 10 of high school for the 2022-2024 school year".

In order to facilitate students' learning, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training allows students to change their enrollment area if they wish.

Candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2022-2023 school year.

Students wishing to change the admission area must submit an application (according to the form), clearly stating the reason for changing the admission area and having it confirmed by the head of the unit where the exam registration form is received.

The city has 12 public high school grade 10 admission areas. Students who want to enroll in public schools must register their preferences for the admission areas according to regulations. Each student can register their preferences for up to 3 public high schools, ranked in order of preference 1, preference 2 and preference 3. In which, preference 1 and preference 2 must be at a high school in the same admission area where the student (or father, mother, or guardian of the student) has a permanent residence; preference 3 can be at a high school in any admission area.

Students who are located in areas bordering recruitment areas or whose actual residence is different from their permanent residence, can change recruitment areas. However, when writing their application form, these students must note: The first and second wishes must be registered for admission to two public high schools in the changed recruitment area; the third wish (if any) must be in any recruitment area.

The 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year in the city will take place on June 10 and 11, 2023.
