Explaining this possibility, Master Nguyen Bao Trung, CEO of AP Saigon Petro, said that thanks to the automation process, optimizing the amount of oil used for each type of vehicle and significantly reducing the use of plastic bottles to package oil, the cost for each change is reduced and will be directly deducted from the price for customers. "This number is meaningful to the group of people who regularly use motorbikes such as motorbike taxi drivers, technology car drivers, and freight transporters...", Mr. Trung shared.
Breakthrough in reuse and recycling for sustainable development goals
Unlike current oil changers, which only focus on oil change efficiency, the 3R machine also integrates technology to collect old oil before it is recycled. Along with calculating the appropriate amount of oil for each different type of vehicle, this helps optimize resources and reduce wasted oil.

With more than 200 million plastic bottles equivalent to 12,000 tons of plastic waste each year from the motorcycle oil industry, eliminating a portion of plastic packaging bottles through the 3R machine can help AP Petro Saigon achieve its goal of reducing the amount of plastic waste. With the expectation of capturing 10-20% of the market, AP Saigon Petro can help reduce 1,200-2,400 tons of waste each year.
