In July 2025, the Mazda2 B-class sedan continued to receive strong incentives from Mazda dealers with a reduction of 6 to 15 million VND, helping the starting price of the lowest version drop to 403 million VND, lower than some A-class cars currently sold on the Vietnamese market.

This price reduction is applied to vehicles manufactured in 2025 and available at dealers. Specifically, the Mazda2 1.5 AT version is currently priced at VND 403 million (down VND 15 million), the 1.5 Deluxe version is reduced to VND 453 million (down VND 6 million), the 1.5 Luxury version is reduced to VND 487 million (down VND 7 million) and the Sport Luxury hatchback version has a new price of VND 529 million (down VND 8 million).

The price reduction has brought Mazda2 down to a lower level than some A-class models such as Hyundai Grand i10 1.2 AT Standard version (price 405 million VND) or Toyota Wigo highest-end G version (price 405 million VND).

In the B-class sedan segment, the Mazda2 model currently has a lower price than competitors such as Toyota Vios, Hyundai Accent and Honda City, but is still higher than Mitsubishi Attrage and Kia Soluto.

In terms of sales, Mazda2 made a remarkable step forward in May when it surpassed Honda City for the first time with 439 units sold, ranking 3rd in the segment. Meanwhile, City only reached 308 units.

In the first 5 months of 2025, Mazda2 recorded sales of nearly 2,000 vehicles sold in Vietnam, accounting for more than 14% of the B-class sedan segment market share, and is considered the model with the most stable sales in the segment.

Although the Vietnamese automobile market is shifting to high-chassis and electric vehicles, B-class sedans such as Mazda2, Toyota Vios, and Hyundai Accent still maintain a certain appeal.

With affordable price, modern design and ability to meet diverse needs from family to business, Mazda2 continues to be a reasonable choice for many customers in the price range under 500 million VND.
