Mbappe has now surpassed Robert Lewandowski to lead the La Liga scoring charts after his hat-trick against Barcelona, with 26 goals to his name.
If he can maintain his top spot at the end of the season, Mbappe will become the first Real Madrid player to do so in three years. Karim Benzema was the last Los Blancos star to win the La Liga top scorer title with 27 goals in the 2021-22 season.
