According to The Sun , Mbeumo has been offered a salary of £180,000 a week at Old Trafford, a significant increase from the £45,000 a week he received at Brentford. Moving to MU will not only help Mbeumo fulfill his dream of playing for a big team but also bring him a higher income.

After many negotiations, Brentford agreed to let Mbeumo join MU in a contract worth a total of 71 million pounds. Of which, 65 million pounds is the transfer fee, with 6 million pounds in additional fees depending on the club's performance.
