Mr Trump, who is running against US President Joe Biden, will no longer be subject to additional scrutiny on Facebook and Instagram, Meta said.
“As we assess our responsibility to allow political expression, we believe the American people should be able to hear from presidential nominees on the same basis,” Meta said in its latest post.

The social media company had previously suspended Mr Trump's accounts indefinitely after he praised those who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
By early 2023, the company had reinstated Mr. Trump’s accounts, saying it would monitor his posts for further violations that could result in additional suspensions ranging from one month to two years.
Some social media experts have long criticized Meta and other platforms for failing to moderate political content, including content from political candidates.
In 2021, Mr. Trump was also banned from Twitter, now known as X. Billionaire Elon Musk restored the account shortly after buying the company in 2022, but Mr. Trump has only posted once since then.
