According to the meteorological agency's temperature table, Hanoi's weather in the coming days will mostly have drizzle and fog, with prolonged humid weather.
In addition, from February 12-13 and around February 15-16, cold air is likely to be weakened and shifted to the East. The low pressure trough in the South will gradually strengthen during the period from February 10-14.
Head of the Weather Forecast Department, National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Nguyen Van Huong said that the humid conditions in the North are likely to last until April. Humid periods usually last from 3-5 days, even a week, and only end or change when the Northeast monsoon arrives.
Meanwhile, from Quang Binh to Thua Thien Hue, from today to tomorrow, there will be rain in some places and cold weather. From Da Nang to Khanh Hoa, there will be rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. In the North, it will be cold at night and in the morning. Other areas will have showers in some places, but in the South, it will be sunny during the day.
From the night of February 12-20, the Central and South Central regions will have scattered showers from the night of February 12-14 and from February 16-17, with some places experiencing moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms. The North will have cold nights and mornings. The Central Highlands and the South may have unseasonal rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
At the same time, the meteorological agency forecasts that from February 11 to March 10, 2025, cold air will continue to affect the weather in our country. However, because the continental cold high pressure center tends to shift to the East, it may cause many days of light rain, drizzle and fog, especially in the northeastern and north central provinces, affecting people's daily activities as well as traffic.
The North is about to have to deal with fog and wet drizzle.
