The weather in the North today is rainy and thunderstorms in many places.

It is forecasted that from early morning to this evening, heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue to occur in the mountainous and midland areas of the North, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with common rainfall of 20-40mm, locally over 80mm.

From tonight to the night of July 11, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places will have very heavy rain with common rainfall of 40-90mm, some places will have over 200mm. Warning of risk of heavy rain (>150mm/3 hours).

Heavy rains are likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams; landslides on steep slopes. From July 13, heavy rains in the North and Thanh Hoa are likely to gradually decrease.

Weather nationwide on Thursday (July 10), Hanoi capital is cloudy, showers and thunderstorms. Lowest temperature 26-28 degrees Celsius, highest 32-34 degrees Celsius.

Northwest region is cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius, highest 31-34 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region is cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places have very heavy rain. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, highest 31-34 degrees Celsius.

Provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Hue are cloudy, hot during the day, thunderstorms in the evening. Lowest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius, highest 34-37 degrees Celsius.

The South Central Coast region is cloudy, hot during the day, thunderstorms in the evening. Lowest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius, highest 34-37 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands region is cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places in the evening. The lowest temperature is 20-23 degrees Celsius, the highest is 27-30 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region is cloudy, with intermittent sunshine, occasional showers and thunderstorms, and heavy rain in some places in the evening. The lowest temperature is 23-26 degrees Celsius, the highest is 30-33 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City is cloudy, with intermittent sunshine, occasional showers and thunderstorms, and heavy rain in some places in the evening. Lowest temperature 24-26 degrees Celsius, highest 32-34 degrees Celsius.
