Hanoi is still flooded
This morning, Hanoi and the North have been sunny since early morning. However, many areas are still flooded, the water has not receded yet, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
The reason is that the system of regulating lakes and drainage rivers is still full of water. Some rivers are at high levels and the water is receding slowly (such as Nhue River, Day River, Tich River, etc.).

The areas that are still heavily flooded are mainly concentrated in the suburbs and a few in the inner city: the West and Southwest along with the North of Hanoi, such as the K Institute area (Pham Tu street), Nga bridge on road 70, Vo Chi Cong street (towards Nhat Tan), Ciputral area, Tay Mo and An Khanh areas, the service road along Thang Long Avenue (from Song Phuong embankment to Big C Thang Long).
At these points, traffic is still difficult.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reported that last night and early this morning, many provinces from Thanh Hoa to Lam Dong experienced showers and thunderstorms, some places with very heavy rain.
Rainfall measured by dawn on August 28 exceeded 90mm in some places, such as Khe Na 1 meteorological station ( Nghe An ) recorded 114.4mm, Viet Trung station (Quang Tri) 96.4mm and Dien Binh station (Quang Ngai) 94.6mm.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that this afternoon and evening, showers and thunderstorms will continue to appear from Thanh Hoa to Lam Dong and the Southern region with common rainfall of 10-30mm, with some places experiencing heavy rain of over 80mm.
In the North, satellite data shows that today's weather has turned positive. In Hanoi and many other places, the rain has stopped, the sky is gradually clearing, the temperature remains cool (highest 29-30 degrees Celsius), favorable for outdoor activities.
