Tuyen Quang selected 20 students for each subject to compete in the national excellent student competition.

On August 28, the Department of Education and Training of Tuyen Quang province issued a Plan to organize the exam to form teams to compete in the national competition to select excellent high school students for the 2025-2026 school year.

The exam aims to select students with excellent achievements to represent Tuyen Quang province to participate in the National Excellent Student Exam, and at the same time to encourage and promote the movement of good teaching and good learning in schools.

According to the plan, the exam will take place on September 11 and 12, 2025 at the High School for the Gifted and Ha Giang High School for the Gifted. The subjects include: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English and Information Technology. Candidates are high school students in the province with good or better academic and training results, who have participated in the provincial excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year.

The exam will be organized seriously, objectively, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , ensuring absolute safety. The exam results will be an important basis for the Department of Education and Training to establish a national team of excellent high school students for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Department of Education and Training requires schools and affiliated units to urgently deploy and ensure adequate preparation of facilities, personnel and necessary conditions for the exam to take place smoothly and effectively.

According to the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a draft to amend and supplement a number of articles of the Regulations on the selection of excellent students at the national level after the reorganization and merger of provinces and cities. Accordingly, Tuyen Quang province, which merged from the two former provinces of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang, will be allowed to select a maximum of 20 candidates/teams/subjects to participate in the National High School Excellent Student Selection Exam in the 2025-2026 school year.
