At the program, delegates enjoyed artistic performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers"; and watched a documentary about the process of building, fighting, and maturing of the armed forces of Tuyen Quang province. The historical images and documents shown evoked a difficult yet heroic period, fostering pride and responsibility in today's generation in building a strong armed force for the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Giàng Cò Sài emphasized: In 2025, under the direct leadership and guidance of the Party Committee, the Command of Military Region 2, and the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, the Provincial Military Party Committee successfully organized the 19th Provincial Military Party Congress, term 2025-2030; the provincial armed forces were comprehensively strengthened, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new situation. They proactively advised local Party committees and authorities on effectively implementing military and national defense tasks; completed the training content and programs for all personnel, with 100% of trainees achieving satisfactory results and over 75% achieving good or excellent grades.
Training and drills at all levels were implemented according to plan; the task of managing and closely monitoring border security, and building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and developing border line achieved many important results. The provincial armed forces also closely coordinated with other forces to promptly handle emerging incidents, preventing any passive or unexpected situations; effectively participated in disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, especially in responding to typhoons No. 10 and No. 11 recently.
Besides military and national defense duties, the Provincial Military Command fully and promptly implements the policies and regulations of the Party and State regarding military personnel and their families; paying close attention to the "Gratitude and Remembrance" and "Remembering the Source" movements. During the year, the unit organized the search, collection, memorial service, and burial of 26 sets of remains of fallen soldiers; visited and presented 671 gifts worth 714 million VND to policy beneficiary families and households with particularly difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and the War Invalids and Martyrs Day. Logistics and technical support were fully and comprehensively ensured, meeting the requirements of training and combat readiness.

With outstanding results, in 2025 the Provincial Military Command was honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the 2nd Military Region Command in the Emulation for Victory movement; many collectives and individuals were also awarded.
Colonel Giàng Cò Sài affirmed: "Today's achievements are significantly contributed to by generations of retired and former military officers. Even after returning to civilian life, they continue to show great affection and responsibility, regularly monitoring, encouraging, and supporting the provincial armed forces. The Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command hope to continue receiving valuable contributions from them, helping to build strong provincial armed forces capable of fulfilling the requirements of national defense in the new situation."
At the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Ba Lai, former Political Commissar of the Military Command of Quan Ba District (formerly), representing the attending officers, expressed his delight at the development of the provincial armed forces, especially since the merger of the Military Commands of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces. He emphasized that the provincial armed forces have decisively and effectively implemented the adjustment of their organizational structure towards a "lean, efficient, and strong" force; proactively managed the border, organized safe training, gradually improved their combat readiness; and consolidated the provincial defense zone increasingly firmly. He also affirmed: "Despite our advanced age, we always follow and believe in the growth of the provincial armed forces; we hope that you will continue to uphold the tradition of 'Loyalty, Unity, Heroism, and Victory,' and excellently fulfill all assigned tasks."
The meeting took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, creating an opportunity for generations of military officers to meet, reminisce about traditions, share experiences, and further motivate the provincial armed forces to continue moving forward in building and defending the Fatherland.
