Not only in the Northern mountainous region, in the late afternoon and evening of the same day, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa , the Central Highlands and the South had scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with common rainfall of 10-30mm, in some places over 60mm.

On July 15, the weather in the North began to change significantly when localized heat waves appeared in some areas. The highest temperature exceeded 35°C, making it feel particularly hot at noon and early afternoon. Meanwhile, in the evening and at night, the mountainous provinces of the North still maintained showers and thunderstorms, creating a clear contrast between the weather during the day and at night.

The peak of this heat wave will be on July 16 and 17 when the North is likely to experience widespread heat. However, this heat wave will not last long, from the night of July 17 to July 22, scattered showers and thunderstorms will recur in the North, with localized heavy rain.

In Hanoi , today is sunny, from July 15 to 17, there is a possibility of widespread heat. Although the temperature is high during the day, in the evening and at night, this area is likely to have localized thunderstorms. From the night of July 17 to 18, Hanoi's temperature will decrease, it will be sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night.

Localized heat waves also occurred in the North Central region, the western mountainous region from Quang Tri to Da Nang on July 15. From the night of July 15 to July 23, the weather in the provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Hue and the South Central Coast will be hot in some places. In particular, in the 3 days from July 16 to 18, heat waves may occur widely in this area.

While the North and Central regions are experiencing hot and sunny days, the Central Highlands and the South will continue to experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain, lasting for the next 10 days. Rain will mainly occur in the afternoon and evening, with the risk of thunder and strong gusts of wind.
