From mid-week to the North, it will be hot, with the highest temperature in Hanoi reaching 34 degrees Celsius, and Dien Bien reaching 36 degrees Celsius, after nearly a week of cooling down due to the impact of cold air at the end of the season.
The weather in the North has been different in recent days. The Northern Delta and the Northeastern provinces have had little sunshine and early morning fog due to the impact of the cold air at the end of the season. The Northwestern region has been hot and sunny due to the influence of the hot low zone in the west.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next two days, the North will maintain the above weather conditions, with the highest temperature not reaching 34 degrees Celsius. From April 17-18, the low-temperature area in the west will develop more strongly, and the hot area will expand to the Northern Delta and the Northeast.

The American website Accuweather predicts that from now until the middle of next week, Hanoi will have a temperature of about 26-32 degrees Celsius, and from Thursday the highest will be 34 degrees Celsius. The Northwest region, including six provinces of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh , Lao Cai, Son La and Yen Bai, will have a temperature of 35-36 degrees Celsius next week.
From now until April 16, the Central region will experience heat waves concentrated in the western mountainous areas of the provinces from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai. On April 17, when the low pressure area in the west develops stronger to the east, creating the foehn wind effect, the Thanh Hoa - Phu Yen area will experience intense heat waves, with the highest temperature of 37-39 degrees Celsius, and in some places over 40 degrees Celsius.
The South and Central Highlands are in the peak of the hot season, the South is hot at 35-38 degrees during the day, the Southeast is over 38 degrees Celsius. The Central Highlands is also hot at 34-37 degrees, some places are over 37 degrees Celsius.
It is forecasted that by the end of next week, the stable air mass, the main cause of heat in the South and Central Highlands, will weaken, at which time the heat in these two regions will gradually decrease.
The meteorological agency forecasts that in the next month, due to the impact of El Nino, which is in its recession phase, the average temperature across the country will generally be 1-2 degrees Celsius higher than many years, with some places in the Northwest, North and North Central regions being 2-3 degrees Celsius higher.
