Le Thi Trang, President of the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin - Protection of Children's Rights in Mo Cay Bac District, said: The Association mobilized 15 million VND in cash. It mobilized 2,410 gifts with a total value of 1.1 billion VND. In the new rural construction, 15 rural bridges were built in communes with a total cost of 795 million VND (3 bridges were inaugurated in Thanh Ngai commune, including: Sen Dong, Le Linh in Thu So hamlet; Binh An, Ong Com hamlet. Total length of the 3 bridges: 24m, width: 2.2m, total cost of 64.5 million VND. In addition, 1 concrete road was built in Cho Cu hamlet, Thanh Ngai commune, 1,100m long, total cost of 560 million VND; 2 charity houses were built and handed over to near-poor households in Tan An hamlet, Tan Binh commune and Dong Tri hamlet, Thanh An commune. Total construction cost was 145 million VND. The Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin - Protection of Children's Rights in communes alone mobilized 350 gifts with a total value of 175 million VND to give to victims of Agent Orange and poor households...

In social work, Mr. Tran Le Ngan in Ho Chi Minh City mobilized 30 million VND to support Tran Nguyen Nha Vy, Khanh Thanh Tan commune, who has a serious illness and is being treated in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Tran Le Ngan also donated 30 scholarships worth 15 million VND to poor, studious students in difficult circumstances.

It is known that from now until the end of 2025, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin - Protection of Children's Rights in Mo Cay Bac district will continue to mobilize the district-level association fund to strive to reach 15 million VND in cash according to the target; at the commune level, each unit will receive at least 5 million VND in cash. Continue to mobilize the construction of charity houses, each worth 50 million VND or more; mobilize gifts for poor households, victims of Agent Orange, and people with disabilities on the occasion of Agent Orange Victims Day (August 10) and Children's Day (June 1). Mobilize school supplies and scholarships for poor students with good academic performance, each scholarship is from 500,000 VND or more.
