On June 1, Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Vietnam Airlines to launch a direct flight connecting Khanh Hoa and Busan (South Korea).

Vietnam Airlines will operate the Busan - Cam Ranh route using Airbus A321 aircraft with a frequency of 1 flight/day.

The first flight VN435 from Busan carrying 186 passengers on an Airbus A321 landed at Cam Ranh International Airport.

Relevant units organized activities to welcome the first group of passengers flying from Busan, such as water-spraying ceremony to welcome the plane, giving gifts to passengers, performing traditional art imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity and taking souvenir photos.

According to Vietnam Airlines, opening this new route is a strategic step to strongly develop the international flight network in the South Central region.

Not only contributing to directly connecting two prominent coastal tourism centers of Vietnam and Korea, the Cam Ranh - Busan flight route, which is operated daily, also opens up great opportunities to attract Korean tourists to Khanh Hoa in particular and the South Central region in general.

South Korea is currently Khanh Hoa's largest international tourist market, accounting for 50% of total international visitors.

In the first 4 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa province recorded more than 812,800 Korean visitors, an increase of 6.5% over the same period last year.
