Upon landing, the guests received a warm welcome from Da Nang's tourism industry with spectacular artistic performances and souvenirs.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, China has consistently ranked second among the top international tourist markets visiting Da Nang for many years.
The return and launch of the Shenzhen-Da Nang route by China Southern Airlines is a significant milestone contributing to strengthening trade and tourism connections between the two localities.
Da Nang's tourism industry will continue its efforts to implement tourism promotion and marketing activities and restore flight routes from major Chinese cities to Da Nang in the near future.
Ms. Mairehaba Yisilayili, representative of China Southern Airlines in Vietnam, said that according to the plan, China Southern Airlines will operate six round-trip flights per week with specific flight schedules on the 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, 18th, and 22nd of each week.
Shenzhen is a major industrial and technological hub in China. Resuming flights at a time when Da Nang is promoting large-scale projects such as the Free Trade Zone and the Vietnam International Finance Center, along with a booming tourist season, will contribute to connecting the two localities and boosting their economies.
