Speaking at the opening ceremony, Meritorious Teacher (EM). Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Principal and Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Head of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology emphasized the essential role of business cooperation in the training strategy of the School.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh affirmed that working with prestigious businesses like Pharmacity is one of the key orientations to equip students not only with professional knowledge but also with practical professional skills, helping them confidently conquer the labor market.
Continuing the program, Mr. Pham Manh Khoi, Human Resources Director of Pharmacity Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, shared his expectations and orientations in the cooperative relationship with Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Mr. Khoi said that the signing event is not only an important milestone in the journey of accompanying pharmacy students, but also demonstrates Pharmacity's commitment to investing in the young generation of human resources. Through this cooperation, the company hopes to create a practical learning environment where students have the opportunity to learn, practice and develop comprehensively, thereby contributing positively to the community and the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry.
Within the framework of the program, Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Pharmacity Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) - marking the beginning of a sustainable partnership between the two sides. The cooperation agreement is not only strategic, but also opens up many practical opportunities for Pharmacy students. Accordingly, students will have the opportunity to participate in professional internships at more than 1,000 pharmacies in the Pharmacity system, directly accessing the real working environment, practicing skills and accumulating experience.
In addition, students can also attend career orientation and skill sharing sessions conducted by Pharmacity's team of experts, helping to supplement knowledge, develop career thinking and soft skills. In particular, after graduation, students will be given priority in recruitment for suitable positions, opening up many attractive job opportunities and long-term career development prospects.
One of the highlights of the program was the inspirational topic “Nurturing positive energy”, presented by Mr. Lam Quang Tuan, Head of Learning and Development Department of Pharmacity Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Through close and profound practical sharing, he brought students a new perspective on positive thinking – a key factor that helps them improve their adaptability, maintain a progressive spirit and overcome challenges in their studies and work.
Representing the business, Ms. Vo Nguyen Kim Ngan - Recruitment Director also shared about Pharmacity's human resource development strategy, focusing on training and developing young people with a progressive spirit, aspiration to rise up and willingness to learn. Cooperating with universities, including NTTU, is an effective way for businesses to approach and nurture the future generation of pharmacists right from the first steps.
The cooperation agreement between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Pharmacity Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company not only expands internship and employment opportunities for students, but also contributes to the formation of a generation of young pharmacists with solid expertise, a spirit of progress and readiness to integrate.
