October 10, 1954, the day of the liberation of the capital city, marked a crucial turning point, affirming the complete victory of our army and people in the resistance war against French colonial aggression, and simultaneously opening a new chapter in the thousand-year history of Thang Long - Dong Do - Hanoi.
