Inviting investors for 1,700 billion VND dry port in Thai Nguyen

(PLVN) - The Department of Finance of Thai Nguyen province invites interested investors to study and participate in investing in the Tien Phong Dry Port Project. The scale of the Dry Port is about 14.35 hectares with a total investment of about 1,700 billion VND, and an operating period of 50 years.

Many FDI enterprises have been investing with large value in Pho Yen City, Thai Nguyen Province.

With the investment goal of Tien Phong Dry Port to meet the customs clearance capacity by 2030 of about 100,000 to 150,000 Teus/year and the vision to 2050 of about 180,000 Teus/year.

Investment scale, new construction of Tien Phong Dry Port with main items: Warehouse, inspection yard, unloading yard, office area, goods distribution center, product display and introduction center, auxiliary works, technical infrastructure network and equipment serving synchronous exploitation.

The total estimated investment of the project is approximately 1,700 billion VND. Project duration: 50 years. Project location: Tien Phong Ward, Pho Yen City, Thai Nguyen Province. Estimated land area: 14.35 hectares.

Pho Yen City has been approved by the Prime Minister and the Project to adjust the overall master plan until 2045 according to Decision No. 1454/QD-UBND dated May 16, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee.

In the planning, Pho Yen City is identified as one of the southern growth poles of Thai Nguyen province. This locality is planned to have 5 industrial parks, 1 concentrated information technology park and 4 industrial clusters, with a total area of over 2,200 hectares, accounting for 52% of the industrial park area of the whole province.
