Every young person is an ambassador of propaganda to ensure traffic safety and order.

Through analysis of traffic accidents, it is shown that the main cause of collisions and traffic accidents is mostly due to the limited awareness of law compliance of traffic participants. Therefore, in order to raise awareness and action for people, especially union members and youth, together with functional agencies and departments at all levels, the provincial union chapters always proactively promote propaganda work on ensuring traffic safety and order to all classes of people.

Every young person is an ambassador of propaganda to ensure traffic safety and order. Functional departments coordinate to propagate compliance with traffic safety laws at Tran Phu Secondary School ( Thanh Hoa City).

Identifying the propaganda and dissemination of traffic laws as a measure that has a positive and effective impact on raising the awareness of young people in properly implementing traffic safety regulations, in recent times, under the direction of the Provincial Youth Union, the provincial Youth Union chapters have organized many meaningful and practical coordination activities to improve the effectiveness of propaganda on ensuring traffic safety and order for people and young people. Notably, the Youth Union chapters in the whole province have proactively deployed and disseminated the content andeducation of traffic safety and order laws in many diverse and rich forms, focusing on innovating the content and form of propaganda to attract young people to participate.

For example, in December 2022, at Thanh Hoa Industrial Vocational College, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises organized a training program and disseminated traffic safety laws to more than 200 cadres, youth union members, students of 101 grassroots youth organizations under the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises. At the program, the youth union members listened to representatives of the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) give an overview of the traffic safety situation in the province, emphasizing information and violations of traffic safety among young people today, especially violations when driving motorbikes, electric motorbikes, etc. Teachers of Hung Do Vocational College imparted basic knowledge on safe driving; at the same time, organized, guided practice, registered for exams, and granted motorcycle driving licenses to youth union members, students. Emphasizing at the program, comrade Hoang Manh Cuong, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Bloc, said: “Through these activities, we aim to propagate, disseminate, educate the law, raise awareness and sense of law compliance on ensuring traffic safety and order for young people, pupils and students. Thereby clearly defining the responsibility and promoting the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of young people in ensuring traffic safety and order; minimizing traffic accidents related to young people”.

In addition to actively propagating, disseminating and educating the law on traffic safety and order, in order to create a strong spread and response among young people, the Youth Union bases also focus on establishing, maintaining and promoting the activities of youth volunteer teams and youth shock troops to participate in ensuring traffic safety and order; replicating models, works and tasks of young people participating in ensuring traffic safety and order. In particular, in 2022, the model "Youth self-managed school gate ensures green, clean, beautiful and traffic safety and order", "Roads and road sections that young people participate in managing and ensuring traffic safety and order"; "Youth with traffic culture" has contributed to reducing the number of accidents in the province.

One of the units that effectively implemented the movement to build traffic culture among youth is Quang Xuong District Youth Union. Specifically, the District Youth Union has promoted propaganda activities to ensure traffic safety and order in the area through youth forums and competitions to learn about traffic safety laws. At the same time, it directed all levels of the Youth Union to sign a commitment with each Youth Union member to strictly comply with the Road Traffic Law and effectively implement the "4 no" campaign (no driving a motorbike without a driver's license; no weaving, swerving, or exceeding the speed limit when driving a motorbike; no cheering for illegal racing; no driving a motorbike after drinking alcohol); building the model of "Traffic Safety School Gate"... Comrade Nguyen Hong Anh, Secretary of the District Youth Union, said: "Strengthening propaganda work to raise awareness of compliance with the Road Traffic Law to each Youth Union member has contributed to preventing and reducing the number of traffic accidents in the district. In the coming time, the District Youth Union will continue to direct grassroots unions to promote propaganda activities on cultural behavior when participating in traffic, including traffic safety content in the monthly, quarterly and annual emulation assessment criteria of grassroots unions and union members; organizing for 100% of students to sign a commitment not to violate traffic safety laws; 26/26 grassroots unions of communes and towns have the model of "Youth self-managed routes that are bright - green - clean - beautiful and orderly in traffic safety", "Youth volunteer teams participating in ensuring traffic safety order in the area".

In 2023, in order to join hands to contribute to improving the effectiveness of propaganda on ensuring traffic safety and order, the Provincial Youth Union has been implementing many practical activities, such as: Responding to the youth movement with traffic culture, union members and young people have actively, pioneered and enthusiastically participated in volunteer activities to maintain urban order and traffic safety. At the same time, mobilize young people to perform cultural behaviors when participating in traffic through organizing forums, seminars, thematic seminars, and exchanges on traffic culture in the community and on mass media. Union bases include the content of disseminating traffic laws and building traffic culture in regular activities; at the same time, determine the content of the union's participation in ensuring traffic safety and order as the annual emulation criterion of the union chapters at all levels and the union members' violations of traffic safety and order are included in the annual classification of union members. 100% of the Youth Unions organize for the Youth Union members to sign a commitment not to violate traffic laws; 100% of the District, Town and City Youth Unions have models and youth teams participating in propaganda to ensure traffic safety. 100% of the Youth Unions of high schools, colleges and universities along National Highway 1A, Ho Chi Minh Road and national and provincial highways build a model of "Traffic Safety School Gate"; establish at least 1 youth volunteer team to ensure traffic safety at the school gate during rush hours...
