Mong Cai: Commune police officers promptly took in abandoned newborn baby for care

To ensure the safety of the child, comrade Hoang Minh Hieu took the child to the Vinh Trung Commune Police Headquarters and reported to the Commune Police Command to temporarily take care of the child. Afterwards, the child was taken by the police force to the Vinh Trung Commune Health Station for a health check. Through the check, the baby boy was about a month old, weighed 3.3kg, and was in stable health.

Vinh Trung Commune Police have issued a notice to find relatives for the child. If the child's parents do not come to claim the child, the local authorities will register the child's birth and carry out related procedures according to regulations. Currently, the child is being cared for and raised by officers of the Commune Police and Vinh Trung Commune authorities.
