Mr. C drove a car on the road with a breath alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 milligrams/1 liter of breath.

Specifically, based on the Administrative Violation Record established by Vinh City Police on November 22, 2023, the test results showed that Mr. C had an alcohol concentration of 0.427 milligrams/1 liter of breath.

Based on the provisions of the law, he was fined 35 million VND and the additional penalty was to have his B2 driving license revoked for 23 months.

According to statistics, from the beginning of 2023 to December 15, 2023, the Traffic Police force in Nghe An province organized 33,463 patrols, with 142,874 officers and soldiers participating.

Thereby, 15,705 cases of alcohol concentration violations were detected and handled, including 747 cases of cars, 14,730 cases of motorbikes, and 228 cases of other vehicles.

Recently, speaking with Nghe An Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police said: In the plan to patrol and control before, during and after Tet, the traffic police force of units and localities still regularly deploys, in addition to ensuring traffic order for people to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet, the handling of cases of alcohol concentration violations is still strictly implemented, anyone who violates will be handled.

Teams and stations coordinate with local police to actively propagate and regularly inspect and handle violations on national and provincial highways, focusing on strong inspections at noon, evening, on holidays and on routes with high traffic volume.

In addition, the traffic police force of 21 districts, cities and towns simultaneously deployed working groups to inspect and handle general violations, including alcohol concentration violations, on all routes managed by the locality.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Nam Hong called on people to strictly comply with the regulation "if you drink alcohol, do not drive" to avoid paying fines, ensuring safety for themselves as well as other traffic participants.
