About 18km from Buon Ma Thuot city (administrative center of Dak Lak province), there is a beautiful lake like in a movie, poetic landscape and peaceful space. In particular, this place is also a paradise for "fishermen" with a large lake surface, and people can freely come here to have fun, eat and drink without worrying about the cost.

Not only an ideal place to relax, Truc Lake is also oriented to develop into an attractive eco -tourism area, promising to become a new highlight of Central Highlands tourism.
Truc Lake is about 90km from Gia Nghia city (Dak Nong) and only about 18km from Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak), standing out with its cool green space and picturesque landscape.
Built in the 1980s for the purpose of storing irrigation water, in the 1990s, the lake was expanded to serve the daily life and production needs of local people.

With a total area of 22.5 hectares, of which the water surface accounts for nearly 12 hectares, Truc Lake has a beauty that is both wild and romantic.
Rows of trees reflecting on the calm lake surface, winding roads create a peaceful space, separate from the noisy pace of life.
In particular, the bamboo forest here has existed for more than 100 years, contributing to the unique characteristics of this area.
In 2008, a business was assigned to implement the Ho Truc eco-tourism project, but due to unsatisfactory results, the Provincial People's Committee revoked the project in 2014 and handed it over to the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for management.

At the beginning of the dry season in the Central Highlands, some trees such as the oil trees around Truc Lake change leaves, creating a colorful picture.

On the peninsula of Ho Truc is a dense forest with many precious trees such as black star, purple lagerstroemia, oil, palm and especially bamboo bushes.
According to local people, the name of the district "Cu Jut" in the Ede language means "Bamboo Mountain". Before 1975, this entire area was a dense primeval forest, in which bamboo grew densely. Later, when the Ede and M'nong communities settled here, the bamboo forest area gradually narrowed.
Today, the road system leading to the peninsula has been solidified, making it easy for visitors to access. One of the most interesting experiences is walking across the bridge across Truc Lake - a poetic check-in point that attracts many young people.
In addition, visitors can leisurely stroll under the green trees, enjoy the fresh air and admire the wild natural beauty.
Mr. Vo Ngoc Huy, a resident of Ea T'ling town, shared: "Every morning I jog around the lake. The fresh air and green trees make me feel like I am immersed in nature. This is truly an ideal place to relax and exercise."

Lots of people happily laughing and talking over cups of coffee by the lake.
Not only is it an ideal place for exercising or having a picnic, Truc Lake is also a perfect stopover to enjoy peaceful moments. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chau, a regular customer of the lakeside restaurants, happily said:
"I love to sit and sip a cup of coffee, looking out at the calm lake, listening to the birds chirping.
That feeling is so peaceful and relaxing, helping me forget the hustle and bustle of life. In addition, on holidays, I often gather with friends and family in the middle of the peninsula, grilling chicken and singing cheerfully. It's close to home, and it doesn't cost anything, it's so great."
With a large water surface, Truc Lake is also a favorite destination for fishing enthusiasts. Mr. Tran Trung Dung shared: "Last year, someone caught a grass carp weighing nearly 40kg here.
As for me, on the morning of the 5th day of Lunar New Year, I went to the lake to "open the fishing line" at the beginning of the year and was lucky to catch a 6kg silver carp."

Truc Lake has 12 hectares of water surface and is a favorite place for many "anglers".
According to Mr. Pham Hoang Thanh, Deputy Head of the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Cu Jut district, the locality is establishing the "Ho Truc Eco-tourism Area" project to maximize the advantages of the natural landscape.
The project aims to develop eco-tourism and resorts, harmoniously combining traditional and modern elements.
Cu Jut is also promoting community tourism, gradually diversifying Dak Nong's tourism products, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
"We aim to build Truc Lake into a unique highlight of local tourism, while connecting with tours in the province.
Thereby, not only enhancing the experience of tourists but also contributing to preserving and promoting indigenous cultural values," Mr. Thanh emphasized.
