Many outstanding new rural criteria

According to the report, up to now, Yen Mo district and Ninh Binh province have evaluated and reconfirmed that all 16/16 communes have met the standards according to the regulations of the Criteria for the period 2021-2025, of which there are 5 advanced new rural communes, 3 model new rural communes, reaching the rate of 50% of the communes according to regulations.
The outstanding criteria achieved in Yen Mo district can be mentioned as: 100% of communes have asphalted and concreted roads; 100% of villages and hamlets have concrete alleys and lanes; installed over 320 km of lighting lines, planted over 295 km of flower paths and trees along roads and in residential areas.

In terms of production, the area in all 3 crops (Winter-Spring, Summer-Autumn and Winter) has been actively irrigated and drained in production, reaching 100%. 100% of the cooperatives in the whole district operate effectively. According to the report, the average income per capita in 2024 of the entire Yen Mo district is estimated to reach 71.05 million VND/person/year. Of which, 16 communes reach 69.6 million VND/person/year and no commune has less than 59.2 million VND.

In addition, the number of poor and near-poor households according to the new rural criteria for the period 2021-2025 (excluding poor and near-poor households with no working capacity) of 16 new rural communes accounts for 1.09% (all communes have a rate of less than 1.5%).
Building new advanced rural areas according to regulations

The assessment of the level of achievement of advanced new rural standards and the verification work of Yen Mo district have ensured publicity, democracy, transparency, proper order, full procedures, and close coordination between agencies, organizations and people...
From the supporting documents, evaluate the implementation results of the criteria of the departments and branches of Ninh Binh province, verify and confirm that they meet the standards according to regulations.
Accordingly, for departments and branches that have not yet issued a document confirming the results of reviewing communes meeting new rural and advanced new rural standards, Yen Mo district is requested to step up coordination and complete documents to send to the Provincial New Rural Coordination Office to synthesize and develop an appraisal report for the Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, it is recommended that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee soon have results of collecting opinions on people's satisfaction in building advanced new rural districts, report to the Provincial People's Committee and send to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (through the Provincial New Rural Coordination Office).
The working group also requested the People's Committee of Yen Mo district to accept the comments of the members of the working group, complete the dossier and send it to the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of Ninh Binh province to complete the report to the Steering Committee, the Provincial People's Committee to soon organize a conference to review and vote to propose recognizing Yen Mo district as meeting advanced new rural standards.
