As one of the five key contents of the "Summer Youth Volunteer" campaign, the "Support for Exam Season" program has always been effectively implemented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with relevant units. After 24 years of operation, the program has increasingly integrated many forms of support in the spirit of innovation, especially the strong application of technology and digital transformation.
To prepare for a new "Exam Support" period, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association has compiled enrollment information from more than 300 universities, colleges and academies nationwide; from here, many contents have been implemented such as providing more than 1 million exam preparation courses and free career orientation test sets, launching AI psychological counseling, connecting candidates with valedictorians of majors...
Statistics from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association show that as of June, the country had more than 3,700 "Exam Support" teams with nearly 207,000 volunteers on duty at all high school graduation exam sites.
With the support of many prestigious units and brands such as: Thien Long, LOF Malto, Masan Ponnie..., the teams provided thousands of free study kits, meals and drinks to the contestants and their families.
Along with that, volunteer teams also carry out many tasks such as: guiding candidates through exam procedures, directing traffic, assisting with luggage storage, and especially organizing "zero-dong motorbike taxi" trips to pick up and drop off candidates in remote areas, special circumstances, and those with difficulty in moving...
In addition, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association also organized a series of school talk shows with the theme "Strong mentality - Overcoming exam season" at 10 schools nationwide. The talk shows recorded more than 15,000 direct participants and more than 42,000 online views, and received many positive reviews about the methods of mental support, psychological stability, and pressure control skills for candidates before the "exam gate" day.
Not stopping at the exam stage, the "Supporting exam season" program in 2025 also accompanies candidates during the admission and enrollment days through the "Supporting to lecture hall" series of activities.
Specifically, volunteer teams will support new students with admission procedures, find safe accommodation, connect with scholarships, and guide them to integrate into the university environment. In the school area, many units are committed to organizing effective, practical, close and exciting "Welcome New Students" programs so that young people can quickly adapt and begin their journey to conquer knowledge in the classroom.
It is known that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association has recently awarded 150 scholarships with a total value of nearly 300 million VND to students in difficult circumstances. Of these, 50 scholarships are reserved for candidates majoring in basic sciences and technology.
