Within the framework of the Launching Ceremony of the Emulation Movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation", held on the morning of April 24 at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates visited many exhibition booths of impressive "Made in Vietnam" science and technology products.
At the virtual reality (VR) game demonstration area developed directly by lecturers from the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the idea of incorporating history lessons into the game.

According to the development team, in the game Reconstructing the history of Ba Dinh Square September 2, 1945, players will wear VR glasses and use 2 handheld interactive devices to immerse themselves in the space of Ba Dinh Square, at the exact historical moment of September 2, 1945.
In this space, players can witness the entire course of historical events. In addition, with pop-ups set up in the square space, players can learn more important historical information such as: information about the Declaration of Independence, famous people participating in the event, flower gardens, etc.

“This is a great idea. Children have to study a lot and need entertainment. This game will help them both play and study. It creates comfort and importantly, the knowledge still penetrates their heads,” the Prime Minister commented.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also asked the game development team to update other areas, expand the audience and increase analysis of the meaning of characters and events.
“I welcome it. This game can help children acquire historical knowledge and other knowledge such as culture, science and technology, stories of good people and good deeds, and famous people of Vietnam…”, the Prime Minister emphasized.

Along with that, the Prime Minister also advised the game development team to pay attention to balancing creativity and ensuring historical authenticity when designing spaces in the game.
According to research, Dr. Nguyen Duc Hoang, Institute of Information Technology and Communications CDIT, Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology is the leader of the game development team. The game is released in 2 forms: Software installed on computers and a version installed directly on VR glasses.
Sharing at the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also emphasized that in today's world, science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are not only objective requirements and inevitable trends of the times, but also the most important way to break through, overcome difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, build an independent, self-reliant, strong economy, a civilized and modern society, and bring the country on par with the world's great powers.
“Institutions on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation continue to be improved; digital infrastructure develops strongly; digital economy has made great strides; digital data is built and connections and exploitation are promoted; the national innovation system and creative startup ecosystem are gradually developing effectively.
“A number of Vietnamese enterprises have gradually mastered core and source technologies; Vietnam's international ranking continues to improve,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
