Fish cages stranded on the shore due to low water level of Lo River.

The low water level of Lo River has greatly affected the production and daily life of people, especially households raising fish in cages along the two river banks.

According to hydrometeorological experts, due to the impact of the El Nino phenomenon, the weather with little rain will last longer than the average of many years, seriously affecting the water resources of the river and stream systems in the area.

To cope with unusual weather phenomena, the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station recommends that organizations and individuals monitor weather forecasts and heat wave warnings to proactively implement solutions in production and daily life, minimizing losses caused by water shortages.
