Rosé (Blackpink) and Bruno Mars' MV "APT." continues to reach new milestones after 6 months since its release.

According to Soompi, at approximately 8 PM on April 20th, Korean time, MV “APT.” The music video for "APT." has officially surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube. Released on October 18, 2024, it took approximately 6 months and 2 days (or 184 days) to achieve this milestone.

“APT.” continues to help Rosé (Blackpink) extend her record, becoming the fastest music video by an Asian artist and K-pop artist to surpass 1.5 billion views. PSY previously held this record, with his music video “Gangnam Style” reaching 1.5 billion views in 264 days.

“APT.” is currently tied with J Balvin and Willy William's “Mi Gente” music video as the third fastest music video to reach 1.5 billion views in history (both at 184 days), after Luis Fonsi's “Despacito” featuring Daddy Yankee and Ed Sheeran's “Shape of You” music video.

Previously, Rosé had also broken the record for the fastest music video to reach 1 billion views on YouTube by an Asian artist, with her "APT." music video achieving this milestone in just 105 days.
