The tornado not only caused loss of life and property, but also left the entire town of Perryton without power.
"We were forced to shut off power to the town of Perryton to ensure safety," said a representative of the power management company Xcel Energy.
The lack of power at the local hospital has also affected the treatment of those injured by the tornado.
