On March 26th, veteran actress Kieu Chinh flew back to Vietnam to participate in a film project produced by Truong Ngoc Anh's company. Accompanying the 88-year-old actress are Sir Daniel K. Winn and Randall J. Slavin, who are also the executive producers of the film, which is about to begin filming.

Actress Kieu Chinh said she was honored to return to Vietnam to contribute to such a meaningful project. With her wealth of experience, the return of this once-famous star creates a connection between Vietnamese cinema and international friends.
At 88 years old, veteran actress Kieu Chinh continues to inspire admiration for her health, stamina, and professional demeanor. Even after a long flight, she appeared radiant and full of enthusiasm.
At Tan Son Nhat airport, Ms. Kieu Chinh shared emotionally: “It’s been 10 years since I last returned, and so much has changed. I’m back in Vietnam to work on a new film project about the painter and sculptor Daniel K. Winn, directed by Jordan Schulz. Personally, as an actress, I didn’t need much preparation, but in terms of production, Truong Ngoc Anh and her team had been planning and preparing for a long time.”
"Besides filming schedules, I also really want to travel to many places in Vietnam, especially Hanoi . However, my work schedule is quite busy, so it depends on the producers. I really look forward to meeting my hometown audience after many years," the veteran actress added.

Actress Kieu Chinh, whose full name is Nguyen Thi Chinh, was born in 1937 in Hanoi. She was known as one of the four great beauties of Saigon, alongside Tham Thuy Hang, Thanh Nga, and Kim Cuong. She began her acting career in the 1950s and quickly became a famous star domestically before venturing into the Hollywood market .
In 1968, actress Kieu Chinh starred in the American-produced film * Year of the Tiger * alongside the famous actor Marshall Thompson. One of her notable roles was in the film *The Joy Luck Club * (1993). She also acted in the film *Soul Stealer * (2014) directed by Ham Tran.
Returning to Vietnam this time, Kieu Chinh participated in a film about the childhood of painter and sculptor Sir Daniel K. Winn. The film, rich in artistic and emotional depth, was co-produced in Vietnam and directed by actress Truong Ngoc Anh.
