A series of shops, supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels have sprung up to meet the diverse needs of people and tourists. My Xuyen Market, one of the city's largest traditional markets, still plays an important role in the trading of goods. According to the People's Committee of My Xuyen Ward, the total budget revenue in the first quarter of 2025 of the ward is over 3.9 billion VND (40.6% of the estimate). The management of urban order, construction order, market order, etc. is regularly concerned. The local political security situation and social order and safety are ensured.

In addition, the ward creates favorable conditions for small and medium enterprises to develop and attract investment in potential areas. Traditional handicraft industries are encouraged to maintain and innovate, contributing to job creation and increasing income for people. In the first quarter of 2025, the ward's "One-stop" Department received and processed 961 administrative procedures (100%)... Ms. Le Thi Binh (owner of a business on Tran Hung Dao Street) commented: "Since the road was upgraded, the number of customers coming to my store has also increased significantly. The business environment in My Xuyen is becoming more and more favorable."

Not only focusing on economic and infrastructure development, My Xuyen ward also pays special attention to the cultural and social fields, aiming to improve the quality of life of the people. The education system in the ward is invested in. Medical facilities are equipped with modern facilities, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment of the people. Cultural - artistic, physical education and sports activities are organized regularly, creating a healthy playground, strengthening community cohesion.

The ward has paid attention to and promptly implemented the work of caring for policy beneficiaries, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances. In the first quarter of 2025, the ward coordinated with philanthropists to distribute over 1,100 gifts to near-poor households, policy families, disabled people, lottery ticket sellers, union members, and members in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of nearly 570 million VND (of which the items converted into money were over 488 million VND). Handed over 7 houses (100%) under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, with a total cost of 531 million VND.

In early 2025, Dong Xuyen ward was merged into My Xuyen ward, forming the current large My Xuyen ward. Implementing the policy of arranging and merging administrative units, by the end of June 2025, My Xuyen ward will continue to merge with neighboring wards to form a new administrative unit called Long Xuyen ward, opening a new chapter in the history of development. In that context, My Xuyen ward, with its current advantages and position, will continue to strongly promote its role, contributing to the success of the sustainable development process in the future.
