According to records, up to this point, many universities across the country have announced tuition fees for the 2024-2025 school year. Many schools expect tuition fees for the new school year to be the same or higher than the 2023-2024 school year.
This school year, the Academy of Finance expects the tuition fee for the standard program to be 25 million VND/school year and for the international program orientation program to be 50 million VND/school year.
For students enrolled by order, the estimated tuition fee will be 43 million VND/school year. From the following school years, the tuition fee may change when the State changes its tuition policy. In case of increase, the increase will not exceed 10% compared to the previous school year.
In the 2024 enrollment plan of the National Economics University, the tuition fee for the regular university program for the 2024-2025 school year is also expected to be from 16 to 22 million VND/school year, depending on the major. The school's tuition fee increase roadmap each year will not exceed 10%.
Phenikaa University announced that in 2024, tuition fees will be calculated by credit.
Accordingly, the average tuition fee for Medicine is 150 million VND/year, and for Dentistry is 160 million VND/year. These are the two most expensive majors in the school. Also according to the school's announcement, for new K18 students enrolling in 2024, the following will apply:
40% discount for the first year; 30% discount for the second and third years; 20% discount for the fourth, fifth and sixth years.
The 2024-2025 school year is the second year that universities apply tuition fees according to Decree 97 of the Government regulating the mechanism for collecting and managing tuition fees.
Accordingly, in the 2024-2025 school year, tuition fees will continue to increase as scheduled. For non-autonomous universities, the lowest tuition fee is in the Arts sector at 13.5 million VND/year (an increase of 1.5 million VND compared to the previous school year). The Medicine and Pharmacy sector has the strongest increase of about 3.1 million VND; up to 27.6 million VND.
Currently, the Medicine and Pharmacy group has the highest tuition fees according to Government regulations, especially in the two majors of Medicine and Dentistry.
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to increase tuition fees by about 10%. Accordingly, tuition fees for all majors are expected to range from 46-84.7 million VND/school year. Compared to the collection level of the 2023-2024 school year, tuition fees for all majors next year will increase by 3-8 million VND/year.
Of which, the major with the highest tuition fee is Dentistry - Maxillofacial Surgery with 84.7 million VND/year (expected to increase by 7.7 million VND compared to the 2023-2024 school year). Next is Medicine with an expected fee of 82.2 million VND/year (expected to increase by 7.4 million VND).
The lowest are in the fields of Medical Engineering, Public Health , Nutrition, Dental Prosthetics, and Nursing, all at 46 million VND per year, an increase of 4.2 million.
Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy has also announced tuition fees for the 2024-2025 academic year. Accordingly, tuition fees are calculated per academic year (2 semesters).
Specifically, tuition for General Medicine is 30 million VND/semester; Pharmacy is 17.5 million VND/semester; Nursing and Public Health is 10 million VND/semester.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be held from June 26 to 28. The Ministry of Education and Training will announce the graduation exam scores from 8:00 a.m. on July 17.
According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can register their admission wishes on the Ministry's common system from July 18 and can adjust their wishes, an unlimited number of times, until 5:00 p.m. on July 30.
From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. August 6, candidates pay registration fees (online).
From August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 17, the Department of Higher Education and the Department of Information Technology will process the wishes on the system to determine the highest wish among the wishes for which the candidate is eligible to be admitted.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 19, universities will announce the benchmark scores and the list of first round admissions.
