On May 4, HK01 reported that Chan Vi, Chu Vinh Hang's wife, announced that she had filed for divorce and sought custody of their child. She is also preparing to sue Chu Vinh Hang for domestic violence and threatening to kill.

According to Tran Vi, she and her son are safe and have not had contact with Chu Vinh Hang. Her son is being cared for by his maternal family. Tran Vi is carrying out divorce proceedings with the actor through a lawyer. She said she has severed ties with her husband. Currently, the negotiation process is not easy and takes a long time because Chu Vinh Hang is clinging and begging for forgiveness.

The divorce from Tran Vi is the second time Chu Vinh Hang has been abandoned by his wife. In 2015, in his first marriage, the male star was also asked for a divorce by his wife, model Trieu Tung Nhu, after discovering he was having an affair.

At that time, Chu Vinh Hang used force against Trieu Tung Nhu, even sought death in the hope of mending his family life. But in the end, he still had to accept their separation.

On April 22, Zhou Yongheng accused Chen Wei of beating him to the point of requiring brain surgery and relapsing into a psychological trauma. Chen Wei later denied the allegations, accusing her husband of lying. She said that she and her family were the victims of Zhou Yongheng's violence.

A day later, Hong Kong police announced that Chow had been taken into custody. He was charged with threatening others, obstructing business, and assaulting police. On April 26, Chow was released on bail after paying $14,400 and signing a pledge not to contact witnesses. The actor’s trial is scheduled for June 21.
