Nam Dinh announces 4 communes meeting advanced new rural standards

Informing VietNamNet on the evening of November 24, Permanent Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung said that the province has just recognized 4 communes meeting advanced new rural standards including: My Ha (My Loc district), Yen Luong, Yen Khanh (Y Yen district), Nghia Thai (Nghia Hung district).

Previously, from November 20 to 21, the Survey and Appraisal Team for Advanced and Model New Rural Areas of Nam Dinh province conducted a survey and appraisal of the dossiers meeting the standards of Advanced New Rural Areas for the above 4 communes.

The results show that the communes meet all the criteria for advanced and model NTM communes according to regulations.

4 communes in Nam Dinh meet advanced new rural standards.

Specifically, all 4 communes above meet 4/4 conditions for recognition of communes meeting advanced NTM standards; there are no outstanding debts in basic construction under the National Target Program on NTM construction by the end of 2022.

The satisfaction rate of local people with the results of building advanced new rural areas of the commune reached 95.95%; the commune is not complicated in terms of security and order according to regulations of the Ministry of Public Security .

Average income per capita in 2022 will reach over 72 million VND, with smart village and hamlet models ensuring the requirements of the prescribed criteria.

In building a model new rural area, Nghia Thai commune (Nghia Hung district) and Yen Luong commune (Y Yen district) chose outstanding criteria in the field of digital transformation; Yen Khanh commune (Y Yen district) chose outstanding criteria in the field of culture.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung highly appreciated the efforts and striving of the communes to complete the goal of building advanced and model new-style rural communes according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

"Determining that the subject of building new rural areas is the people, taking the people as the root, with the goal of improving the material and spiritual life of the people, right from the beginning, Nam Dinh province has paid attention to investing in developing the rural economy .

Thanks to these right steps, in the period 2010-2020, Nam Dinh is one of the first two provinces in the country to reach the new rural area (NTM) finish line.

Promoting the good results achieved, Nam Dinh province determined that in the 2021-2025 period, it will focus on maintaining and improving the quality of NTM criteria, striving to build advanced NTM and model NTM," said Mr. Dung.

In the coming time, Nam Dinh province requires localities to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, focus on propaganda, advocacy, and mobilization of resources to maintain and improve the quality of model NTM and advanced NTM criteria. Focus on economic development to increase income for local people.
