Nam Sach undergoes renovation.

Eighty-five years since its founding (July 20, 1940), the Party Committee of Nam Sach district has led and leveraged the strength of the entire political system to transform a purely agricultural district into a comprehensively modernized one, with the lives of its people steadily improving.

During the 2020-2025 term, Nam Sach district achieved an economic growth rate of 13.1% per year. The average per capita income has reached 90.5 million VND per year, higher than the provincial average.

Modern industrial zones and clusters have been and are being formed, attracting many domestic and foreign investors and creating more jobs for workers.

Transportation infrastructure has been heavily invested in to connect different regions, creating a foundation for sustainable development.

In 2024, Nam Sach was the first district in the province to have 100% of its communes and towns with OCOP products. It is estimated that by the end of 2025, the entire district will have 76 OCOP products.

Administrative reform and digital transformation have been identified by the district as one of the strategic breakthroughs to promote development. Nam Sach has consistently led the province in the administrative reform index for many years. Building on the tradition of being a land of scholarly achievements, for many years, the education and training sector of the district has consistently maintained a top position in the province, with 100% of schools meeting national standards.

Social security policies are implemented fully and promptly, and the material and spiritual lives of the people are increasingly improving.

Nam Sach district is a leading district in Hai Duong province in sorting, collecting, and processing household solid waste to protect the environment.
